#1 Energy & Environment / Business
(DEADLINE JUNE 29)
Publication – Russian news agency, Interfax
From the reporter:  I am looking for an expert(s) who can
comment on China’s coal industry, dropping price and swelling
stockpiles at Qinghuangdao, China’s biggest transshipment port.

The background of the story: the generation of hydropower increased
due to heavy rains in the southern China, bringing down demand for
thermal coal. Also, China exports a lot of coal due to high prices for
transportation of the domestic coal. It would be great to talk to
someone who can give more insights into the issue. The deadline
is Friday afternoon.
#2 Energy & Environment / Business
Publication – Russian news agency, Interfax

From the reporter: I need to interview someone who can talk about
China’s rare earth industry, an expert or a private company.
No deadline for this one but sooner is better
#3  Politics / Business
Freelance reporter writing for El País, Hong Kong’s
South China Morning Post, Foreign Policy magazine.
Two requests:
1) “China in Greece”. I am planning to visit Greece in July and want
to be able to access sources that are knowledgeable on the topic of the
impact that Chinese investments have over there. I am interested in
strategic assets like ports, as well as the political mood towards the Chinese.
I believe the category of sources should be in business and politics, mainly.
2) “China in Ukraine”. I am planning to visit Ukraine in July and want to be
able to access sources that are knowledgeable on the topic of the impact
that Chinese investments have over there. I follow China’s interest in Ukraine’s
space program, its military technology and the rivalry between China, Russia and
the West in Ukraine.
The following request is still open:
#4 MD – Source Request – Interfax – Solar power expert needed
for comment
Russian news agency, Interfax, needs comment as soon as possible
from a qualified individual/company/organisation (anywhere in the world
if qualified to comment) on the following question: Will China offer to help
the solar companies hit by US tariffs and adjust the supply chain?
